Jr NTR & Ram Charan Movie Master list for US viewers

I’ve been attempting to watch all of Tarak and Charan’s movies but some of them have been difficult to find with English subtitles, so I put together this list for myself and anyone else who wants to access their movies with English subs in the US!

If you haven’t seen RRR yet, you can watch the original Telugu version here (thank you @charcubed !!), on Einthusan.tv or ZEE5, and the Hindi version on Netflix.

*movies with a question mark (❓) next to them are ones I haven’t been able to find. Let me know if you have more luck or if I am missing anything and I’ll update this list!

you know what I miss rn? The niche desi fandoms that were hyperactive for a while and slowly fizzled out. So many friendships were born out of these fandoms. I drew Jenny (Olivia Morris) and Bheem (Jr. NTR) from the Indian Telugu-language film RRR (2022). It was such a soothing experience to capture the small details of this brief, yet heartwarming moment in the thrilling film.

When picking between the boys’ and girls’ game of tug of war, he went to the girls’ side. And won.

Speaking of girls, this kawaii man emotes like he’s in an anime. He physically cannot keep any feeling secret. The only reason Elite Special Ops-Officer Ram didn’t notice Bheem was lying to him is because he is so in love

Innocently and honestly believes that he won the dance off because of Ram’s “leg cramp.” When he asks Seetha who has smallpox, Seetha looks like she’s explaining what lies are to a small child for the first time

The way he takes Ram’s, Seetha’s, and Malli’s hands in his, giving them one last thing to anchor themselves to before his departure. His love language is physical touch <3

He gives the best hugs in the world and EVERYONE knows it

While enduring Passion of Christ-levels of torture, went, “Welp, there’s a song I’ve been working on. Want to hear it?” It was a banger. You could say the crowd went wild

His first instinct wasn’t to take the shrine’s bow and arrows for Ram. His instinct was to bless him and make his friend a LITERAL deity, LORD RAMA reincarnate!!

He screamed in a tiger’s face then apologized to him

Has definitely worn a flower crown before and will do so again

Bheem looked at white men’s obsession with hunting and really said “You like shooting beautiful creatures, yes? ^^ Murdering my forest friends, yes? ^^

He went from weeping into Ram’s hands to ripping the door that separated them off its fucking hinges in like. five seconds.

I really wanted to draw this moment from the movie because the actor in this scene just go through so many intense emotion in a matter of seconds, shock, sorrow, anger. How can you express so much with a face with so little change is beyond me. 👌

Jr NTR is a brilliant actor who really revealed himself this last couples of years. If you haven’t seen the movie just go watch it !

FYI, this was my third attempt in trying to draw that scene, and the first time I’m happy with the result .. idk why it was such a hardship but trust me in this, I struggled ^^ so yeah, happy I persevered through previous failures.
